(Taipei News) Recently, the Bureau of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Economic Affairs announced the winners of the 30th Taiwan Excellence Awards. For this Taiwan Excellence Awards selection, over 1,200 products from more than 600 companies were submitted. After several months of careful evaluation by over a hundred experts from industry, government, and academia, 355 high-quality Taiwan Excellence products were selected. The BOXER-8240AI is equipped with the NVIDIA® Jetson AGX Xavier™. Measuring 21cm x 16.4cm x 5.9cm with a 60W power consumption, it features peak processing performance of 32 TOPS, comparable to a small workstation. The virtualized sandbox, co-developed with Fiducia, securely manages underlying edge nodes, satisfying the OTA system update requirements of system integrators and significantly reducing costs. The BOXER-8253AI utilizes the NVIDIA® Jetson Xavier™ NX and is equipped with two PoE PSE (802.3af) ports, supporting 45W of PoE/PSE power supply. The outstanding HDMI input port design allows customers to upgrade existing equipment to AI devices without high costs by simply connecting their current devices to the BOXER-8253AI. It is currently applied in many critical fields, such as X-ray scanning equipment in airports and ports, gastroscopes/colonoscopes in hospitals, and drones for pipeline inspection. Limited by the 16GB eMMC on the NVIDIA® Jetson Xavier™ NX, AAEON specifically designed three additional storage expansion devices, allowing customers to choose between expanding with MicroSD cards, mSATA, or 2.5” SATA SSDs. Furthermore, the highly flexible I/O configuration—including four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, COM, and DIO—allows the BOXER-8253AI to fully satisfy the needs of AI and IoT application scenarios.
