Overview

The BOXER-8641AI is powered by the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin module. With an incredibly rich I/O packed into a compact device (180*136*62.1mm), the BOXER-8641AI is equipped with six USB slots alongside a microSD card slot, and two Gigabit LAN ports. This means the BOXER-8641AI has both the hardware and software capabilities to accommodate any number of AI applications, such as high-end autonomous manufacturing and smart agriculture, given the inclusion of the NVIDIA JetPack™ 5.0 software development kit, which supports the full NVIDIA CUDA® software stack to make application development easier and faster.

A further benefit to AAEON customers is that the Jetson AGX Orin developer kit features the same 699-pin form factor module as previous modules, ensuring compatibility with AAEON carrier boards loaded with existing NVIDIA modules of the same configuration. This allows for smooth migration to upgrade existing edge AI applications.

Combining an 8-core ARM v8.2 64bit CPU and NVIDIA Ampere architecture, the BOXER-8641AI harnesses the full potential of the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin, possessing 1792 CUDA® and 56 Tensor cores for up to 200 TOPS, offering up to 6 times the AI performance of its predecessor. The BOXER-8641AI’s processing speed and inferencing capability subsequently shifts object detection function from GPU cards directly to the edge, simplifying the deployment of autonomous logistics vehicle applications.

A wide temperature range of -4°F ~ 131°F (-20°C ~ 55°C) illustrates the BOXER-8641AI’s rugged deployment suitability. Further, its compact size and light weight mean its operation is not limited, enabling it to run industrial AMR and autonomous mining vehicle applications, where its object detection can offer elite logistics solutions for tight, industrial settings with low-visibility.
