The BOXER-8654AI by AAEON is an advanced embedded system powered by the NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ platform, designed to excel in edge AI applications. More Than Just a Carrier Board

A carrier board with a difference, the BOXER-8654AI-KIT is equipped with a full-function I/O, including six USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, an Out-of-Band (OOB) management box header, and four LAN ports with optional power boards for PoE to combine the delivery of both power and data through a single interface. Further, the kit offers dual MIPI CSI connectors able to accommodate four MIPI cameras for high-bandwidth, low-latency image acquisition.

Jetpack Preinstallation for Streamlined Development

Multi-Expansion for Wi-Fi, 5G, & NVMe

M.2 E and B-key slots allow for the installation of Wi-Fi and 5G modules, with the latter also offering an onboard SIM for cellular data transmission. Meanwhile, the BOXER-8654AI-KIT’s M.2 M-Key slot provides a home for high-performance NVMe SSD storage, more than capable of handling the large storage capacities and fast read/write speeds required when building your AI solution.

40-pin Header, Endless Possibilities

An NVIDIA Jetson-compatible 40-pin header opens the door to a wealth of flexible, customizable interfaces dedicated to building embedded solutions capable of operating on the edge. The kit’s 40-pin header grants I2C, SPI, UART, and other serial interfaces to compliment its onboard DB-9 ports, which bring RS-232(RX/TX/GND)/422/485 and CANBus into the mix.
